Civic, faith-based, and educational organizations operate Scouting units to deliver the programs to their youth members, as well as the community at large.  Chartering organizations may be very involved in the Packs they support, or may have a less involved relationship.  Often they support Packs in their programming with a meeting location.

Christ Presbyterian Church in Terra Linda is the chartering organization for both Pack 76 (Cub Scouts) and Troop 76 (Boy Scouts).  Pack 76 holds special occasion meetings at the Church (like our celebratory Ranking Up meeting), but we are grateful that Vallecito Elementary School has opened their doors to us for Pack and Den meetings, as well as for larger special events like Pinewood Derby.  Vallecito’s facilities are more conducive to the active (sometimes messy) adventures our boys work on at meetings.
