Cyberchip is a required achievement for all Scouts with internet access. It can be covered at a Pack meeting, Den Meeting or at home. 2017-18 we will cover as a Pack. Scouts receive a patch and must “recharge” the Chip every year. Some of the info may be beyond what a parent feels ready to discuss with younger Scouts, and parents may opt out of those parts per Council (eg talking about cyber-bullying for kids who don’t utilize social media).  Grades 1-3 have slightly different content than 4-5.
